What We Believe

"The conviction that Christian doctrine
matters for Christian living is one
of the most important growth points
of the Christian life."

WHO WE ARE

For over one hundred and fifty years, First Baptist Church has sought to meet the spiritual needs of those in Magnolia and the surrounding areas. Through our affiliation with the Baptist Missionary Association (BMA) we offer a wide variety of programs and activities designed to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the local community and the world.

Small group ministry is developed through age-graded Sunday School classes and Sunday evening connect groups. Our music program involves children, youth and adults through a variety of means for the purpose of Biblical worship. Our student ministry revolves around expositional teaching and discipleship.

Our main ministry emphasis is on the preaching, proclamation and application of the Word.

First Baptist Church of Magnolia, Arkansas exists for the glory of God and the good of others through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The following are the core beliefs, principles, and procedures of FBC Magnolia based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our ministry is rooted in and flows out of these Biblical doctrines. As a participating church in the Baptist Missionary Association of America, we subscribe to the BMAA Statement of Faith which can be found here.
